Coastal Nissan
Rockland, MA
Project Overview
MEG was responsible for all aspects of the design and permitting of this approximate 26,000 square foot (s.f.) automobile service and preparation center for Coastal Nissan located off Pond Street in Rockland, Massachusetts. The redevelopment involved the repurposing of the existing retail sales building, the reconfiguration of the existing parking area, new utility connections, stormwater management facilities, minor site grading and landscaping. The project involved the design of 2 industrial wastewater holding tanks in accordance with 314 CMR 18.00 to accept flows from the new interior floor drain system. The project required a special permit and site plan approval under the Rockland Zoning By-Law and the preparation of a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) through EPA’s National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program. MEG also provided construction phase administration and inspection services to ensure that the final product was consistent with the value engineered design.
