Project Overview

MEG was retained by the Town of Scituate Housing Authority to provide land surveying    an engineering services associated with the due diligence/feasibility study for properties located at 0 Central Park Drive, New Kent Street and The Driftway.   The scope of work for all properties included preparation of compiled perimeter plans, soil testing, identification of wetland resources jurisdictional under the local and state regulations, a zoning analysis to identify allowed uses and dimensional requirements under the Scituate Zoning By-law,  research of record deeds and plans at the Registry of Deeds as well as consulting other sources such as USGS Maps, FEMA Flood Maps, Natural Heritage and Endangered Species (NHESP) Atlas and Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) Soils Maps.   MEG’s scope of work also included the preparation of various development alternatives that contemplated all of the site’s regulatory and physical constraints.
