Riverview Industrial Park

MEG was responsible for the survey, design and permitting of this 76,000 square ft. industrial condominium development off Route 114 in Middleton, Massachusetts.  The project included an elaborate stormwater management system designed in compliance with the DEP’s Stormwater Management Policy as mitigation for an extensive network of access roadways and parking and loading areas that were designed to accommodate heavy industrial traffic.  The project required local approvals from the Conservation Commission, the Zoning Board of Appeals, the Planning Board and the Board of Health.   The project required the preparation of a Wildlife Habitat Evaluation and incorporated extensive wetland mitigation measures including wetland replication and restoration areas and the creation of compensatory flood storage areas.  The proposed 4,000 gallon per day (gpd) Presby septic system was designed with enhanced nitrogen removal capabilities in that the entire project site is located within a DEP Zone 2.   The project also involved the preparation of a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) through EPA’s National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program.
