Maple Ridge Condominiums is a 24-unit townhouse development located on approximately 5 acres of land off Maple Street (Route 62) in Middleton, Massachusetts. The development was permitted under the state’s Comprehensive Permit Program (M.G.L. Ch. 40B) and required approvals from the Conservation Commission, Board of Health and Zoning Board of Appeals. MEG was responsible for coordinating all permitting for the project, from filing the preliminary design with MassHousing (MHFA) to obtaining the final comprehensive permit from the Zoning Board of Appeals. The development is comprised of over 1,000 linear feet of roadway, associated parking areas and supporting infrastructure. By utilizing an elaborate system of retaining walls exceeding 15’ in height, MEG was able to maximize the development potential of the site while protecting wetland resource areas and preserving a historic building situated close in proximity to the development.
