Mount Auburn Hospital

Watertown, MA

Project Overview

The project proponent, Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, proposed to develop an approximate 3.4 acre parcel of land located on Grove Street in Watertown, Massachusetts.  The proposed development consisted of the construction of a paved satellite parking facility for Mount Auburn Hospital, including drainage infrastructure and two bus stop shelters.  The drainage infrastructure consists of grassed biofitration swales and catch basins, Stormceptor proprietary separators, raingardens and infiltration/detention basins.  The combination of these components will renovate and provide mitigation of peak rates and volumes for stormwater runoff.  MEG provided construction inspection and administration services to ensure that the final product was consistent with the value engineered design.
